Global Warming?
I was up late one night and came across a website where you could download historical average daily temps for different cities (http://weather-warehouse.com/index.html), so I started looking at the data. According to the weather service, the last 13 years in Austin have followed a sine wave (the red squares are average temperature over each year) pattern that repeats about every 11 years (where have I heard that?- oh yes, the solar sunspot cycle that is the primary driver of earth's climate). The historical average yearly temperature for the last 60 years has been 68.4 degrees-the green line on the chart.
Interesting...
Each red square is the average temperature for 1 year
Each blue diamond is the average temperature for 1 day
The green line is the average temperature over the last 60 years for Austin
